Sure Size may not matter when it comes to the plant to Pumpkin ratio. My
703* was almost a Joke of a plant and still produced the largest Squash
California had seen up to that time !! Weak plant Small leaves less then 200
sqft UN
PRUNED ... Now my more aggressive plants like my 790 Daletas did not REALLY
put
on weight till I was able to totally STOP vine growth. Turtuaries were
coming
from EVERYWHERE. My biggest leaves Biggest Stump. 25 Inches in Circumference
Leaves up to 37 Inches.. But ALL of my "COMPETITIVE" plants had a Stall
period
when they were put in the ground.. For me that is just a Lack of early
season
warmth in the soil and patch !!! Well, that is just my two cents !! Keep
