before they start again

Last year I asked the list why I would remove all my 'extra' male
blossoms and one grower said that they attract cucumber beetles.
I checked, and he was absolutely right! I went into search-&-destroy
mode on the males.
Now in winter reflections I wonder, if the cuke beetles are gonna be
somewhere (everybody has to be somewhere), don't I want them where I can
find and destroy them, the beetles not the blossoms?
Or is it a fact that if I remove all my male blossoms, the beetles will
fly away to Napa, Elk Grove or Torrance?
This is a serious question. Got answers?
