Poetry Contest
Thank you Kathy for encouraging me to try writing a poem. Since I have been
unable to get a big pumpkin to the scales, I thought I would give poetry a
try. I had my wife edit the poem and now she is claiming the victory and
probably the prize as well. This was my first and last poem since I want to go out
a winner. I am hoping this is a sign from the pumpkin gods that my big
pumpkin will arrive in the patch this year. Growing season seems to begin with seed
auctions and trading and ends with Fall soil preparation. With so much
happening, the season has begun. Good Luck to all. All you need is a good seed,
good soil, good weather, hard work and lots of luck.
