Re: Poetry Contest
Marv,
So much to say, and only 26 letters in the alphabet! I may have to use some
of them twice.
Congratulations to you and your wife! [David and I collaborate on all our
best stuff.] But your wife will never receive the FIRST PRIZE beret unless
one of you sends me your mailing address. I sent the 3rd prize off to
Wallace Simmons yesterday.
YOU will be one of my judges in the 2005 Pumpkin Poetry contest, having
earned the cabinet position and approval of Congress.
And of course you have my gratitude and best wishes for a GREAT season! I
truly believe that having an early entry from a grower of your caliber
encouraged a greater response than we would have had otherwise.
