In Loving memory, Lois Hole
Alberta's Lieutenant Governor and gardener supreme passed away yesterday, Jan. 6
after a two year battle with cancer.
Fondly remembered as the Queen of Hugs, she put protocol aside and gave an
impromptu hug to nearly everyone she met, regardless of their status in life.
Her legacy lives on in her dozen or more gardening books and her love of the
written word and the libraries for making them public.
