Hi Chris,
The snow is all gone and it's 50 degrees here :)
We had a lot of snow, 8"-10" but it came and went during the school break. I
never knew how nice it was to see grass.
We are in the very southeast corner or the state. We did not do nearly as
bad as Spokane Washington. The icy roads were frightful. My son asked me if
I felt like Grandma as he was helping me to the car and I was walking like a
penguin.
We did have to go to Spokane's Sacred Heart Hospital for my husband's
surgery. The nurses took showers at the hospital and was wearing the green
surgical clothes because they could not do their laundry at home. Their
power was out for several days. From my husband's hospital window, we saw a
transformer blow. A few minutes later, lights went out at the nearby
Deconess Hospital. I prayed the backup power came on immediately and that
all was well.
I am glad that you guys are doing ok.
Thanks for filling us in.
