If you live by the ocean, go and can collect some seaweed. I have heard this
is a good additive in a compost pile..   BUT BE CAREFUL....Look at the seaweed and see if
you can notice any yellow with the green. Then you have a beached Green
Bay Packer and they are not worth anything. 

Weak, I know....but I have to cheer for an ex-WSU QB.
