Michael - thanks for help! I really appreciate it! So here is a question:
If a compost pile with insufficient aeration smells like a sewer, what
does it smell like if it has too much nitrogen?
If I am going to get personal with my compost pile, I might as well culture
my tastes.
Great idea about topping the pile off with the leaf mold to capture
nitrogen and smother overcooking. I'll do it when the nose says so.
Dan (who has dry clothes but 4 pairs of really smelly, muddy boots)
