another composting experiment

re your question on heating cables and houses. i have plastic covered 3+3
houses and used a heating cable burried a couple inches under the soil
inside the houses last year and it made big difference . i have temp probe.
soil inside houses was 10 degree warmer than area only a foot away . i kept
the cable going after the plant outgrew houses and the heating cable
maintained the 10 degree difference .  i hope this answers your question.
