Boo-da info for Al Eaton

Any AG grower who doesn't know your name has their head in the ground.
It is a privilege to talk with you. As to the 408 it was crossed by
itself. The seed came from John Castelucci, one of the great gentlemen
of the sport. The seed was a 540. The parents of the 540 where Mobert's
567.5 and Castelucci's 5l5. It was predicted to have great shape and
color and that it did.

It was curious that you contacted me for I was about to write you
concerning how I might plant two AGs in a plot 25x50. My mentor and now
good friend, Hugh Wiberg, told me that you are knowledgeable on small
but efficient plots. I will send you some thoughts I have in diagram
form and maybe you can help me come to some decision on whether to give
my plot up to one plant and take the risks or to try and grow two.
Expect a letter soon.

With my greatest respect,

Joe Mills
