Joe Mills-Right on,couldn't agree more. This idea should be put into action.
A list of growers(all levels)with their personal best weight(one fruit only)
and that fruits ancestory is what would tell everyone the most about the
available seeds. It is a list that every grower could be on,in contrast to
most lists.
It could look like something like this:
Personal Pumpkins and Ancestory
977 Andersen 97--1006 Greer 96 x 1006 Greer 96
887 Orr 95--------990 Bax 94 x 946.5 DeJong 94
Once the list is compiled it could be ranked and grouped by the mother fruit
and become the most meaningful resource of all.
A great idea you have Joe,now someone has to start compiling the data.It
won't be me but I can supply a lot of information, and so can everyone on
here,to whoever in email land wants to get
started.-----------------------------------------------Al Eaton
P.S.-This is not a great task, just takes someone with interest and
capability to built a list over time as info comes in.
