RE: A. Benton Anyone?

I just got the O.-St. L. newsletter and they had a complete listing of
pumpkins entered in the Raleigh weigh-off, run by Harry Hurley, and on
that list in third place with a new NC record of 599  was Andrea Benton.
She also had a very large watermellon. She is a major southern grower.
We need to try and get the addresses of those on that list. Are you up
for working on that? They have their weigh-off on Sept. l9th! You should
really give some consideration to the start of your season. Aiming for
the GPC weigh-off date might not be the best timing. Maybe two plants at
two different starting dates?
