Interestingly I had heard of a woman who used her old estrogen/progesterone
birth control pills in her fertilizer water. She said they acted like
fertilizer. Historically speaking estrogenic substances were extracted from
mexican wild yams and converted into birth control formulas. I wonder what
these hormones do for plants.
