	No I have never done that, but I do know the winner this past year was
441 pounds. I love that fair, it has grown so much in the past 5 years.
The Agricultural buildings have some pretty awesome displays. Gotta love
Pennsylvania!!!!
	This past season I grew a 70 pound field pumpkin, not ever hearing of
the Atlantic Giant variety. After I got going, I bought this computer,
and stumbled across this group. I think the people in here helped me add
25 pounds to a pumpkin that usually stays down around the 25-30 pound
range. I had no clue how big these AG's could or would get until I
entered our local Giant pumpkin contest. At that contest, the top ten
averages were around 450 pounds to my recollection. My little pumpkin
took dead last, but I smiled the whole day, knowing that next year,
things will be different, and I might be the one sitting atop that field
of growers. 
	You see, I have one advantage over the rest of the hillbillies around
my area who grow em, THE PUMPKIN GROWERS MAILING LIST!!!
	I acquired some great seed through this service, but more importantly,
met alot of great friends on here. I invite these people into my home
through the emails every night, People such as Marvelous Marv, Capt
Hackney, Don Langevin, Pumpkin Guru, Pumpkin Witch, last years grandest
of em all, Chris Anderson. Lastly, lets not forget the man behind
keeping this going... Duncan Thanks Duncan..
