John,
I was thinking Carbon 14 foliar fed to outside leaves. I don't know where
anybody gets carbon 14, though. Does carbon 14 show up with a geiger counter?
Could we get it in a CO2 form? I gave my plant physiology book to the local
high school in 1987. I wish I hadn't now.
As with Iodine, I don't know if it is absorbed. It will be interesting to
find out. It has a very short half-life. I would like to see what kind of
mutations we could get by X-raying some seeds. I knew some kids who X-rayed
some goldfish eggs and they grew some interesting mutations.
