I'm curious. How many plants do the more successful growers maintain
every year? When I say 'most successful', I mean those that are churning
out 600+ pumpkins consistently. I will be growing 8 plants this coming
season. I know those limited by space don't have much choice but what
about those who have the room?

Mike,
I would guess 2 to 6 plants for most. It is hard to do justice to more than
that, unless you are retired......then you are really dangerous. Isn't this a
great sport, when a person in their 60's becomes a dangerous competitor.
