Joe,
I hope your 408 was a bad year. I'm in clay down in Richmond, VA. The pH of
my soil is 5.5. The pH of my manure is 7.0; who would have thought it
possible. My tomatoes get bottom rot because of lack of calcium. Do I use
CaSO4 or lime? Anything I do will probably be an improvement over last year.
I hope my soil test comes back soon; so I can over analyze it. I wonder what
too much CaSO4 would do to pumpkins? Why are my pumkins green on the side
that gets no light?
