systemic insecticide

Does anyone know where to get MERIT brand systemic insecticide in small
quantities? I plan on using it this year for my pumpkins to control vine
borers. It was mentioned by Don Langevin in his latest book. I lost my
plants last year to this insidious varmints. The stores in my local area only
offer merit in large quantities which are very expensive. The Bayer
corporation which makes this product says that it is available in a 2oz.
bottle but I have'nt found it yet. I would appreciate any help in this area.
