Oregon Update

The stump remains.  Gasoline and Vaseline makes a wonderful explosive, but the
stump remains.  The neighbors tractor front end loader is wedged under one
root.  Fires burn in it, the entire arsenal of fireworks, potassium nitrate,
nitro, diesel, firewood, axes, saws, shovels, oxen, cold fusion, asteroids,
particle accelerators, lazers, and brute force from my arms have been thrown
at it and the target remains.  It has been a week, and never before have I
experienced something so damn stubborn, except me.  I will win, I must win, it
is like a roadblock that is challenging my very being as a pumpkin grower.  I
remove the stump and the 1000 pounder is mine.
Okay, on with the rest of the update.....
Site Zero...  Early pick is the #560 LaRue.  I promised Jack I would grow it,
so here it is.  Poop has arrived and the sprinkler is in the works.  I am
installing an electric timing sprinker system for the patch this year to avoid
and heat stress that may occur while I am at work.  It is looking more like a
site now.
Site #1...  Home to the #900.5 Lyons and possibly thr 879 Rockwell or #612
Stellpflug.  Definatly going to be a squash here.  Poop has arrived, and looks
good.  
Site #2...  Home to the ??.  No poop has arrived for here, but its coming.
Site #3...  Erich's site, The Pumpkinguru's assistant, Squashman, will attempt
to shatter the NW record squash from here.
Site #4...  Future site of the #866 Mombert.  3 fruit trees were removed to
allow easy access from the road for pumpkin extraction and poop disposal.  No
poop yet, but soon.
Site #5...  Future site of the #946.5 Geerts.  No poop, but soon.
Site #6...  Future site of ?, current site of the stump from hell sent here by
the great pumpkin himself in an atempt to inhibit me from growing it.  Has
poop, needs sprinkler and one less stump.
Site #7...  Future site of ?.  Pampas grass has been removed, and poop looks
good.  
Site P-1...  Future site of the #627.5 Hester.  I will try it again without as
much room and see what happens.  Need poop and water as does Site P-2, home to
?.
