Re: pumpkins v. squash?

They are of the same species, cucurbita maxima. As far as the variety
goes, I have seen them called Show King Squash in Howard Dill's seed
catalog. This is the name given to giant squash that Howard Dill has a PVP
for. The only difference between a squash and a pumpkin is skin color.
