This jogged my memmory a little as well. I dug out a 1994 Gleckler's seed
catalog and found a listing for a Mammoth Hungarian squash. It says that
they can easily grow over 100 pounds and shows a picture of a 217 pounder
grown in 1969. From the B&W photo it looks white in color with mild
ribbing. Well, there is a little info.

p.s. Anybody ever heard of a giant zebra squash?
