Yes, I have heard of a giant zebra squash. Apparently, some have been
grown in excess of 500 pounds.
You probably want to contact Glenn Drowns of the Sandhill Preservation
Center in Iowa. He has many little known squash varieties, some of a
giant nature. I don't have his address handy but if you search the
internet for 'Sandhill Preservation Center' or 'Sand Hill Preservation
Center" you will find it. SeedSavers is another organization you may
want to contact.
