Newbie questions

Hey guys, I'm a 38 yo first year grower from Long Island, N.Y. who's been
lurking in the vines since last July just listening and soaking up knowledge
in preparation for this season. I have 3 sites available for my pumpkin
growing use thanks to family members who struck hard bargains in the "will
work for growing space" frenzy that came over me. If I have any time left to
actually grow a pumpkin, I'd like to make my first try a success (success
means anything that makes it to wiegh-off ). The soil test was taken (truly
pitiful results) the shredded leaves were spread and the horse manure goes on
next weekend. Godzilla the tilla' will then make it a meal fit for a 1000#
pumpkin. My main question is...what should my mineral readings be (FE, Al, Mn,
Zn ) they just give numbers on the test results, not high or low. They give
recomendations for adjusting my ph (5.7) P (high -) K (low) Mg (medium) and Ca
(very low) which I will follow, but say nothing about the other values...any
idea where they should be ? I've been trying to compare with LIpumkin's
(Glenn) report but the numbers don't jive (P is high - at 21, high at 70, and
high at 371 ??). Hopefully I'll figure it out before all the hair is yanked
out of my head. Also, I'd like to thank the very generous members of this list
who have sent me seeds or have my bubble-paks in hand, I'll try to return the
favor next season .....Russ DeSantis
