Bad Experience. The perils of gardening.

It's me. Marv in Altoona. My gardening day today was really bad. I got home
from work and went down to the garden. Remember how I caught a groundhog in
less than 12 hours yesterday? Well I could see in the distance that my trap
doors were shut. I thought, groundhog number 2. As I got closer to the trap,
like really close, I saw a huge snake coming out of the trap, about 3 feet of
him out. I don't like snakes. I jumped back and when I could breathe again
saw that it was a black snake. I thought I would leave and let him leave. I
came back and he was still there in the trap about the same as when I had
gone. I hate snakes so I gave him more time. I threw a few pebbles but he
didn't move. I got my really long handled rake and moved the cage. The snake
didn't move. But, there was movement inside the trap! A very very small bunny
was in there. The rabbit had gotten caught in the trap. The snake saw him and
tried to get him but was too big and got stuck. The snake died stuck in the
wire opening. I let the rabbit go. He and I both had a bad day. I am sure his
was worse than mine. The snake is still stuck in the trap. I'll deal with him
tomorrow. Enough gardening for today. The perils of pumpkin growing!!!! My
heart rate is still a little fast.
