RE: (no subject)
Can someone tell me the actual product name of the pesticide that they use
to spray for vine borers? I went to the store looking for Methoxychlor or
any product that contained that ingredient, but couldn't find it. I did find
the Sevin.

You can hope all you want Mark, but if they are single or maybe two or three
near each other its the egg of a squash vine borer. Remove as many as
possible and then some ...they will destroy your plant. Methoxychlor is the
only shelf pesticide i know of that will (hopefully) get the
buggers......but
timing is everything. Spray it...if you can find it....every 7 days or after
every rain. Pick as many off as possible!!!......G
