I'm not so sure it's all that important but if I could choose I'd always take 
the higher lobe count if all other factors such as vine position were equal. 
On the other hand, I wouldn't hesitate to cull a 7 lober for a faster growing 
4 lobe. Just hope it pollinates and track it's growth for a bit then make 
your decision. Nothin' to it. 

While we're talking about freaky, count the lobes on this one from my patch.
