Speaking of freaky, my 827 has had two flowers this year that have normal
looking lobes (4 in each case, if memory serves), but also have another
thing sticking in there that has a bunch of tiny little seeds on it. One
was pollinated and so far is growing - don't know if it will stay or not.
The second was on a vine that snapped.
I remember last year someone said they had seeds outside the pumpkin. I've
never seen this before.
