John, I'm gald you wrote, it just prompted me to go get out my radio and put it in the patch. That is what I have done for the last three years and it has worked good for me. Last year I didn't get it out there until I had scratches from a racoon on my "Vermonster". I treated the scratches with some Captan paste and they turned out fine. It weighed 576 pounds in Lennoxville. It was about beach ball size when the vandalism ocurred. BTW my pumpkins listen to 92 MOO fm.....todays hits and
yesterdays favorites....maybe
country would help them grow better I have found
that animals don't like scratching to
the oldies.
If the scratches aren't too deep, I would treat with some
Captan or maybe sulfur and hope
that they heal up before you get a big growth
spurt.
