Recall that our questioner wants to keep the watermelons also in the same
patch. So that would limit his pumpkin planting. And, on the other hand, it
might work. In fact, he could even get a new cross - orange skinned
watermelon!
I hope that small plants prove more and more capable of growing large fruit,
since my space to grow plants is so limited. Maybe we can get some seeds
designed for small spaces with intensive cultivations.
