Re: Rookie Question

Try a clear plastic sandwich bag....just place over the flower the night before and if its ready you will see it open up inside the clear plastic the next morning......my wife pollinates mine during the week as well.....works for me....wayne
P.S. do the same with the males...

OK growers time to laugh at a simple question but I am serious.
What is the sign we are to look for to know the female flower is going to
open the next day ?? Is it the color of the petals the size of the embryo or
what? Last Sunday I saw my first female flower that was at the distance I
wanted and didn't pick it now I have females on every leaf margin from 9 feet
to 13 feet on the primary and littered on the secondaries. So many in fact I
am confused !! Since I will be having to ask Bob Troy for his Male flowers
and that my wife will have to do the pollinating I don't want to jump the GUN
and make my wife mad at me that she had to get up at 7:00 am and the flower
not be open !!
Any suggestions will be great !!!! Thank you ALL in advance !!!!
