pollination

In the last 6 days I have pollinated 10-12 fruit on the same plant.  But I do not know if I have a problem  or not. My first 2 grew to 9-10" around in 4 days, but have stopped the last 2 days , stems got 6-7" long & the fruit is still very firm. My plant is growing very fast, is it possible the fruit did not abort but just taking longer to startup. Has anyone had this problem before. The other fruit on the plant seem to be doing the same thing...........Thanks  .......Paul
