Long pumpkins

I'm growing the 867 Mombert. It has been a very vigorous plant, it's the
largest of my three plants. The pumpkins are not the usual round shape that I
have come to expect. Instead they are rather long and slender (about twice as
long as they are wide). What does this mean when it comes to pumpkin
size/shape down the road in two months? Are these more prone to splits or is
it anybody's guess?
