Great story !! I too have the same type of problem.
I live at the end of my street in an expensive but not extremely upscale
neighborhood. My neighbor to the East was really happy when I moved in and I
re landscaped the front yard Even though in front of his 4,000 Sqft home is
four trucks two cars a camper and miscellaneous motorcycles and jet skis. He
cannot use his four car garage because it holds a boat and jet skis along
with his office. He consumes every parking space on the street and even has
his friends park in front of my home when they visit leaving me no space to
enter or exit my house. This year as usual my cool season grass in my lawn
started to die off and I got some sod web worms mixed in. As I am fighting to
keep up the look of my yard My wife came to me and said my neighbor had told
her that my yard looked inexcusable and I had best fix the problem.
Well that was before pumpkin season, so I pulled all the annual flowers in
my eight foot deep flower beds and haven't watered my lawn since well about
May 20th it looks pretty dismal out there I heard from neighbors that he was
threatening to move if I didn't fix the problem and apologize for making his
house look bad, Well that was it I am hell bent to just keep my perennial
plants healthy and keep the yard expectable and maybe I will see the problem
go bye bye !!
Who knows but It will be fun to see !!
