My 12 year old has a flat vine Second time in three years.

I agree we should be able to figure this out. We each have a theory. But,
there is a common thread waiting for us to discover. My vote would have been
weather and genetics. Traffic on the bulletin board points to some lineages.
Mine is a Stellpflug 968. I noticed the flat vine during a cold spell. The
vine was normal for about six inches. Also, the vine was close to being
kinked where it started. All side vines are normal.
