Yo List,
The 983 ciliberto was grown in the year 2000. This was also the
year we had the worse sunspots for many years. These sunspots do terrible
damage to comunication systems and to our weather by sending out bursts of
highly charged particles which interfere with our planets magnetic field and
even burning out micro-electronic systems.Is it possible that some of these
particles could have an effect on the genes of this and other pumpkins (and
other plants) grown in that year? Just a thought.What year were the other
pumpkins grown that are also getting flat vines?

PS somebody on the bigpumpkins list said they had a 3 headed
sunflower...not unusual...but who knows.
