Re: 815 Checkon Vine Splitting


Thanks Larry, Ron & Dan for the info on the vine splitting.  I'm still
hopeful that this plant will produce a nice fruit.  I have a few set on it
now.  The splits appear as the vine tries to lay down not as a result of
bending or twisting.   My theory is that splits along the vine will not
effect the flow of water/nutrients that much as opposed to splits across the
vine.

The features of this plant are huge.  The stump (which did not split) is a
good deal larger than I have seen on the plants I have grown at this stage.
