Stopped Growing

I am a first time grower - planted seeds ordered from Dill - supposed to be 300-500 pound variety - one of three seeds came up and vines doing good in spite of the heat (high 90's the past three weeks and over 100 the past two days) - had 3 females which were fertilized naturally - I culled one - the other 2 grew rapidly to the size of large grapefruit and then stopped growing - haven't grown at all in the past two weeks - does anyone know what would cause this - Thanks in advance - Jack Dage
