Dear List:
I have a plant which developed a secondary main
which I trained to go around the outside of my patch. Unfortunately I did
not get a good set on it and it looks like I may put all of my eggs in one
basket with the set on the primary main. My patch space is limited.
My question is does this secondary main also supply nutrients to the primary
vine? Would culling it have any affect on the pumpkin on the main
vine?
