Re: Pumpkin growing at joint problem
Jon.....
Do what Alun says, and also go ahead and cut the first tap roots on either
side of the stem. Make sure you watch the growth to determine if you need
to cut additional tap roots and the vine lifts. Good luck.

The pumpkin is growing at the joint of a secondary and
the main vine. Do I leave it a 45 degree angle to the
main and the secondary? Or do I cut the secondary off
and somehow patch it without burying it? I obviously
can't bury that spot because the vine needs to raise
for the pumpkin.
Thanks for any advice. Right now I am just hoping the
stem grows long enough. It's about 6 inches right
now.
The pumpkin is 48 ott at about 10 days old. (I think
it's that old. Might be younger)
