Ok Brett, I concede the possibility exists of a pumpkin bloom matching
or exceeding the dragon Calai flower. Only I would bet that there
has been no flower that size ever grown east of the Mississippi - even
by one of those peculiar squash farmers.
I hereby claim all bragging rights for possibly the biggest pumpkin bloom ever from this point in time until someone somehow somewhere proves something different.
By the way, Beowoulf on the dragon Calai has taken the lead from Bellaluna on the 983 Ciliberto in the dragon patch.. Starting to look to me like the West may edge out East this year.
Amanda holds possibly the biggest pumpkin flower
ever grown on this planet! - 9 1/2" bloom on a 26" stem
