New update
Hi to everyone including especially the people who put
in a guess for the contest. I have a pumpkin at 140
ott at 19 days. Is that good? Tomorrow my tape
measure won't be long enough because it is only 60
inches long and that is what the lengthwise
circumference is today. <p> I have another one I
haven't measured yet on the other plant but it isn't
growing as fast. Both plants are 697 dill. The
pumpkin that is 140 was pollinated with a few flowers
from both plants.
I'm starting to lose a few leaves near the stump.
They are slowly turning yellow and brown because the
chlorophyll is being sucked out by white flies or
fungus gnats. Is this normal for the growth of a
plant: the oldest leaves start to go?
Anyway, I hope my pumpkin keeps adding 10 ott every
day. I would be happy with 740 ott.
