I read the mail conversation about treating infections with the bleach
solution. We do have some infections on the main vine and on the stem. I
have always been treating them with rubbing alcohol a few times per day and
setting a fan to blow on the infected place. Also this morning I also
noticed the same kind of liquid running for the pumpkin where stem meets the
pumpkin. I could not see cracks, but sprayed with rubbing alcohol and put a
fan nearby. Do you know what works better for disinfecting rotting spots,
minor cracks and infections, rubbing alcohol or bleach solution?

Can anybody advise?
