RE: "Compost Test" results--anybody have it done?

G, I was skeptical, but I don't have anyone else's #s to compare them to, and I thought they would put less "lipstick on a pig" than a commercial firm or farm supply company; it's not like they need to lie & make a fortune on compost--they can do that with speeding tickets. And, no, their compost isn't free, either, but for my needs it's still very affordable, $12/truckload for screened, and I don't have any room to make my own.

For Cliff Warren: As for the pH, using a $28 soil meter, my sifted compost came in around 6.8, and when switched to Fertility Mode, it measured midway on the "Ideal" band of the meter. I always thought compost should be near neutral, but everything I've been reading, including the ...Pumpkins books says compost breaks down producing acids.

If anybody had their compost tested, please post results. If you have a nearby composting facility in your town or county, please ask for results & post here. Thanks.
Mark

?

Seeing this is done by a town/government, I'm assuming the results were
accurate and "true" meaning no ad hype?

Huh? Your kidding right? LOL....even more reason to be suspicious.
