Re: regarding mail list-how many years?

I have been since Dan Gardner ran the list, and still enjoy the list,
even through the chest thumping and belly aching. Most of everything I
have learned about Giant Pumpkins have come from this list, Don
Langevin's "How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins (I and II), fellow
members I have met from this list, and the local yocals such as Mark
Elsbree, Kevin Brown, Len Knauss, and others.
There used to be an address (maybe there still is) that gave the entire
list of people who belonged to the list, and all you had to do is send
an email with the word list or members in the subject line. It had the
names of people on it, starting with the oldest members, and listing
them down the line, in order as they joined. Anyone remember that
address?

Quick update here in Northeastern Pennsylvania, the hail damage is a
thing of the past, my 723 Bobier is going great, and have one fruit set
on it that is nearing 200 pounds... Just kidding, it actually is the
size of a baseball, pollinated it on July 7th. The Eaton 780 is just
behind the 723 in size, set a fruit on the 6th of July, and that is
about the same size. Other 2 plants in the second patch got hit harder,
and are living, but are not going to do anything but give me a few
pumpkins about 150-200 pounds..

Visited a fellow grower's patch this past weekend, and he has some nice
looking plants, but is also behind due to some trials and tribulations
of this darn hobby/sport. He has softball sized fruit on a few plants,
and is doing a nice job of playing catch up.

You might be a Redneck if...

You go to the stock car races and don't need a program.
