RE: High Potash
The one I use is 0-0-44; it looks like granulated sugar & is water soluble &
the brand is Sudbury, however, my distributor only has 1 lb retail boxes &
kinda expensive. I also use water soluble 11-11-40 and 4-18-38, both with
micronutrients.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I had 2 different labs do 4 different tests on my
main patch over the past year. Nitrogen has added as urea and Am. sulfate
before and at planting. My Phosphates levels are very high. Kinsey's srevice
came back with to add 4.5 lbs/1000 sqft 0-0-50 at planting time and another
2.9lbs at time of vine running. I've added the earlier but not the later.
I've use schultz tomato 18-19-30 in past years, I feel I don't need so much
N and P. By donig the math I need 4.6 lbs/1000 sq ft. of 0-0-62. I would
need 9.6 lbs of 18-19-30 at $3alb to make up the 2.9lbs K and add an
unneeded 1.8 lbs P.
Back to my question has anyone used sugar potash?
