Hi Pat,
Sorry to hear about your area getting hit with HAIL, I did also, and this is
the first time in years that I have had hail fall of that size (1/2 to 3/4
inch). It did a job on my leaves (and they looked beautiful up to this
point). Hopefully they will recover.
I was thinking, maybe a good dose of a high nitrogen liquid fertilizer
(foliar feed) may help, or maybe not, ... might be just as well to let the
plants recover on their own.
If your vines are good, your plants should recover.
I wonder how many other people (fellow growers) here in MA got hit with the
Hail? and what type of damage was done?
I think Southern NH got hammered also, I have some friends (fellow growers
up there as well and they seem to get hail every year from some freak
storm). in the Keene, Rindge area.
