RE: 1020 Rehab
Mine is still in the game, albeit running over my blacktop driveway, almost
up to the garage. I terminated the flat/double/mutant main about 6" past
where it cracked (the 2nd split) and made a splint for the split out of wood
laths & extra wide duct tape. The 1st split was buried a while ago. Have
about 3 secondaries vying to be the main, all thicker than the main on my
1062 Rivard. Is anybody else's main striped? My main up to the cutoff is
bright yellow & dark green, but my 2ndaries are normal light green. The only
three females I have are light colored, more pale yellow with green cones,
whereas the Rivard females are green & striped (10 pollinated, 6 growing.)
The 1020 leaves are the largest of my plants if it matters.
Pollinated 2 on the 1020 today, (2 different vines) hey, was 7/18 a famous
day in AG record history in the recent past?
Hey George, where ya hiding that horseshoe? Wasn't it you who's fallen on
hard AG luck the past few years & was looking for that silver bullet? You
may be the only one growing it that has had zero problems with the 1020. Or
maybe someone slipped you a Mickey... or a Wentzell or a Checkon, or even a
203 Korney'01 EST? Any fruits yet or you keeping it quiet?

Hi All.......
At least one thing has gone right this year. I split and removed half the
tip of my very flat 1020 Papez two weeks ago and the remaining half has -
for six leaves now - been growing normal. All sides are also normal.
First female was right at the split so I did not set it. The next female
will have about three feet of normal vine behind it so we'll try that one
and see how it goes. Anybody else still have a 1020 in the game?
