Re: Bugs

Steve
We have been hit by squash vine borers over the years and have tried
injecting BT into the vines. It seems to stop the damage - we inject every
couple of inches on each side of where we find the "frass". We then bury as
much of the vine connectors as possible, to promote additional root growth.
I am sure Warrior T is the way to go for the best growth, but I worry about
the bees. I am not in contention for 1,000 pounds, just trying to break 500.
By the way, for all who gave me advice for my hail damage, I have a lot of
new growth, nice big leaves and starting to throw females again. The year's
not over till it's over. Thanks
Pat
