My garden is on a Plateau and is well drained medium loam. There is a connection though (I think) with wetness & cold (weakens plant) and soil born diseases even if the soil is well drained. May & June were cold and wet here and disease is more prevalent throughout the garden. Some AG's seem to be more resistant than others. Next year I will try resistant AG's and treat the soil, the other choice is not to grow any AG's there for a few years.
