Dear List:
I have a fruit which is growing at the proper pace
but the blossom end seems very low to me. At this point it is only
about an inch off of the ground and the pumpkin seems to be filling in all
around it. I am a bit concerned as I do not want it
to push the protruding blossom plug into the
ground. Should I try and slide something under the
fruit to elevate it some or is there nothing wrong with the blossom end being on
ground level. Thanks for any advice.
